It may seem small, but the Arizer Air vaporizer can pack a hard hit, for it’s size! Forcing pretty much all competitors to stay down… but is it as good as they say it is? This review will cover pretty much all details, and you’ll be able to choose for yourself, if it’s really worth the investment or not. More information about the Arizer Air can be found here.

The Vaporizer Unit
The Arizer Air is available in 3 different color variations, which are Black, Silver, and Titanium. The unit weighs exactly one pound, and is 2.75 x 6 x 8.75 inches. It’s as tall as a beverage can, such as a Pepsi can, and fits inside of the palm of your hand. It operates from 2 buttons (up and down arrows) and has 2 LED light indicators. The charging port can be located on the back of the device, and is covered with a small cap. The chamber, located at the top, is also covered with a hard plastic cap. Both protector caps are very durable, and I haven’t had any problems with them, yet. They don’t have a cheap feeling to them, either.
The top section of the Air can be unscrewed, to be able to get to the heating section if needed, but it is not recommended. The bottom section also unscrews, and gives you the ability to access the battery. The battery used to power the vaporizer is a 18650 flat top rechargeable battery, which can be found online very easily, and is the same type used in Electronic Cigarette mods. You can also locate some at your local vape shop, as well, in case if you ever have to replace them, or just want back up batteries.
Temperature Settings
The Arizer Air gives you a choice of 5 temperature settings, and are displayed by colors, on the top LED indicator light. If the top indicator light is white, then the temperature setting is at 374°F. The unit heats up very quickly, and takes around 1 minute and 30 seconds, to fully heat up, to level 5. I prefer to stick with the Level 3 option, but if I’m having a session with friends, I usually switch between Levels 4 and 3.
The bottom LED indicator light is for displaying the heat light, as well as charging purposes. The heat light will be blue, and will change to red, when the battery is getting low. When charging, the bottom LED will flash green, and when fully charged, it will be a solid green light.
Operating & Using The Vaporizer
To turn the device on, you hold both of the arrow buttons, at the same time, for about 3 seconds, and you will hear a beep, indicating the device is on. To turn the indicator sound off, you hold the up arrow button for 3 seconds. When it’s turned off, you won’t hear any beep, but when turning the sound back on, you will. The sound isn’t too loud, but keep it in mind, on your first use. There are no sounds, during other operations, but when plugging in the charger, it will also make a beep sound.
After turning on the device, you select your desired temperature setting, and allow the unit to heat up. For first time usage, it is highly recommended to change the temperature setting to level 5, let the unit heat up, and just idle for 10 minutes, or until it turns itself off. This will allow any manufacture oils to burn out, as well as any other harmful chemicals, which may be inside of the heating chamber. After the first initial burning phase, change the temperature setting to your preferred setting.
If you wish to use your last temperature setting, you can hold the down arrow button, for 3 seconds, to return to your previous setting.
After the temperature setting has been reached, you can load the glass stem inside of the chamber, by holding the stem upright and turning the unit upside down. This will make sure no herb will fall out by mistake.
Once the stem is inside of the chamber, allow some time for the herb to heat up, before taking your first hit. After a minute or so, it should be more than ready to be vaped!
Glass Stems
Inside of the package, you will receive 2 glass stem variations, as well as an aromatherapy dish. The longer one is about half the size of the Arizer Solo straight stem, and is 3.75 inches long. It is all glass, and holds the heat really well. The bowl size is around the same as the Arizer Solo’s, and can fit close to 0.2g of herbs inside of it.
The other glass stem has a black hard plastic flat mouth tip and can be unscrewed from the glass section, for cleaning purposes. When separating the mouthpiece from the glass, there is a small rubber gasket, which sits between the pieces, to keep it sealed. If you take apart the tip, please keep this in mind, but they can be replaced, if needed.
It is a little smaller, than the all glass stem, and is around 3 inches long. You are able to fit around 0.1g of dry herbs into the bowl section, and is just enough for single use. The mouthpiece makes the experience much more enjoyable, and is very comfortable. The shorter stem also seems to give better draws, and has better air flow. The mouth tip doesn’t get hot, and doesn’t have a plastic taste or any other taste from it.
All of the glass stems, for both Arizer Air and Arizer Solo, are interchangeable and can be used on either of the vaporizers. If you already own a Solo, and wish to use the bent stem or longer stem on the Air, you have that option! This helps from having to purchase extra stems, and allowing you to customize the vaporizer to fit your preferences or style.
Charging / Battery Life
The Arizer Air allows pass-through functionality, where you are able to use the vaporizer, when the unit is being charged, at the same time. As mentioned above, the battery in the device is an 18650 flat-top battery, and is used in a variety of vaping mods for Electronic Cigarettes. It is an interchangeable battery, and lasts around 60 minutes of continuous use, and about 5-6 bowls, before needing to be charged. The battery takes around 30 minutes to fully charge, from 0% to 100%.
The charger is a one piece charger, and not a USB charger. When charging the unit, the charger plugs directly into the back of the device, unlike the Solo, where it’s at the bottom. This allows you to stand the vaporizer upright, instead of having it lay down, while being charged.
When charging, the bottom LED light will flash green, indicating the unit is being charged, and when the LED light is a solid green light, it means the unit is fully charged.
Accessories
Besides the interchangeable glass stems, as mentioned above, you have the option to choose from a wide range of accessories for the Arizer Air. One of the accessories, which is already included in the packaging, is the rubberized sleeve. The one included in the packaging is a white, but more of a dark clear, sleeve. You are able to purchase a wide variety of sleeves online, and there is a wide range of color options for them. Another accessory included in the packaging is the carrying case. It is held closed by a Velcro strap, and has 2 pouches, one on each side, which can be used to hold stems and/or batteries. There is a clip, on the back, to be able to attach the case to a belt, or on a backpack, if you’re out hiking or just walking.
Aside from the sleeves and carrying case, there are vaporizer skins, if you wish to personalize the unit, water tool attachments to give you the ability to use the device on a bong or other water pipes, a variety of customized stems, and many more!
Pro’s & Con’s
With this device, there are so many Pro’s to list, and one of the best things about this vaporizer is the interchangeable battery. If you ever need to change batteries, or wish to carry more than one with you, with the Arizer Air, you are able to do just that! It saves a lot of money, from having to worry about replacing the device, like you would have to do with most of the devices on the market.
The ability to use the glass stems from the Arizer Solo is also a huge plus. This saves a lot of money, if you already have a Solo, or if you wish to have additional stems to choose from.
When it comes to being discreet and stealthy, this vaporizer is great at that! It looks similar to an Electronic Cigarette mod, and is small enough to fit inside of your pockets. It is light, but at the same time, it’s build really tough. Even during the occasional drops, it won’t hurt this device! When vaping, it doesn’t any unpleasant odors, and very easy to keep hidden, when you’re out and about.
In case if anything ever goes wrong with your device, you are covered with a lifetime warranty, and if you ever have to replace the unit, VaporNation will work with you, to make sure you get a replacement. There hasn’t been too many, if any, complaints for this vaporizer, and you should be very pleased with your choice in this one! As for the Con’s, there really isn’t too many, unless you want to get picky about the device. One of the most noticeable Con’s would have to be the temperature setting display. It’s great to go by colors, but it would be better if the temperature was displayed on a digital screen. If this happened, it’ll probably make the unit more expensive, so I understand their reason behind it.
The vaporizer only lasts for about an hour of continuous usage, but is more than enough time to get the job done, even during a session. Since you’re able to replace the battery easily, it’s not too much of a concern, and you are able to carry extra batteries.
The Arizer Air is one of the best portable vaporizers available on the market. If you are thinking about purchasing one, you will be very happy with your decision, on this device. You really get the best of everything, with this vaporizer. I have always enjoyed the look, and feel of the device, and have been very happy with this vaporizer, since the day I received it in the mail.
Cleaning the device is similar to other vaporizers, and is very easy to do. The only pieces that require cleaning will be the stems, but they can be cleaned with alcohol or any pipe cleaning solvent.
